The Store
The Hudson Bay Post Store has been restored to its original stature and sets the background for this exceptional fishing retreat. A museum atmosphere pervades the store where you can wander back into the past, surrounded by artifacts, antiques and even an authentic birch bark canoe.
We have a full line of fishing tackle, souvenirs, snacks and Cuban cigars available for purchase at the store. Browse through our large selection of jigs, spoons, rods, line and other fishing gear suitable for fishing Walleye and Northern Pike on Lake St. Joseph.
Try some of our Old Post and Village strawberry or raspberry jam and apple butter. Our additive-free jam and apple butter is made specially for the Old Post by A.W. Jantzi & Sons Limited in Wellesley, Ontario.
We sell a wide range of very trendy Old Post apparel including our popular Canton Fleece and Polar Fleece products as well as delicious, locally-harvested wild rice.
