We offer an annual 5 night / 4 day fishing trip the first weekend in August, from Saturday to Thursday. This is all-inclusive package features: your flight, accommodations, meals, boat and motors, ground transportation and guide service. This package also includes all applicable taxes.

Chartered Flights

We can arrange a chartered flight for you through Canada Direct, an air charter service dedicated to their customers traveling north for a fishing trip. Canada Direct offers flights out of Chicago DuPage Airport (West Chicago, IL), St. Paul Downtown Airfield (St. Paul, MN), Austin Straubel Airport (Green Bay, WI), and General Mitchell International Airport (Milwaukee, WI), with other destinations possible. Canada Direct flies a Pilatus PC12 which is recognized as one of the most sophisticated, high-altitude turboprops in the world. Executive configuration allows groups of up to eight to travel in comfort and style. Old Post Lodge can be reached in less than three hours from any of the above destinations.

Chartered Float Planes

We can arrange a float plane for you with Rusty Myers out of Fort Frances, Ontario. Why not fly Northwest Airlines to International Falls, cross the border and fly on a Cessna Caravan right to the beach of the Old Post Lodge? It is just an hour long flight- grab a boat and your fishing gear and you’re into the walleyes before lunch. If time is a big consideration, this would be the way to go. It is convenient and gives you the unique opportunity to see Northwestern Ontario and Lake St. Joseph by air. This sheer vastness of this area is an impressive picture and an experience to remember. Imagine leaving in the morning right after breakfast, probably in the morning mist to go back to Fort Frances and International Falls to catch a commercial flight home.
