Located at 51° 05’N Latitude and 90° 35’W Longitude, Lake St. Joseph was expanded from a lake of 90,000 acres in 1930 to its present size of 154,348 acres.

If you are driving up to The Old Post and Village, schedule your arrival at the "landing" between 4 and 7 pm where our staff will transport you and your gear for a 20 minute ride across the lake on our 30 foot pontoon boat. Once at camp, you can settle in and prepare for fishing bright and early the next morning. Depending upon the length of your package, after you have completed you fishing, your last morning is set aside for your departure which will take place from the beach no later than 9:00 am. You'll be in your car by ten o'clock. The Pontoon boat runs nonstop from the landing to The Old Post and Village from 4:00 - 7:00 pm on the day of your arrival. And on the day of your departure from 7:00 - 10:00 am. If you have chosen one of our scheduled or charter flights or a bus trip, times of arrival and departure as well as length of stay will depend upon your package.

Special arrangements pertaining to arrival and departure times can be made in advance to suit your individual needs.

Take Hwy. #11 East to Hwy. #502 to Dryden.


Proceed on the Trans-Canada Hwy. #17 East for 20 miles to Dinorwic.


Turn left on Hwy. #72 to Sioux Lookout.


Once in Sioux Lookout, follow the airport signs to the airport via Hwy. #516.


Continue on Hwy. #516 for 60 miles.


Turn left on Hwy. #599 at the stop sign.


You are now 1 1/2 hours from the landing, just follow the road signs.
